How to set up IQAutoApply, get more from its features and sort out common problems.
Set up in three steps
Create your profile
- Register for an account and verify your email.
- Upload your resume, then check the details it picks up.
- Add your target roles, locations, work style and pay expectations.
Add the extension
- Install the IQAutoApply Chrome extension when your account prompts you.
- Pin the icon to your browser toolbar so it is easy to reach.
- Sign in with the same account you use on the website.
Start applying
- Open a supported job platform and search for roles.
- Open the extension and start a run.
- Watch your first few applications to confirm the answers look right.

Saved answers
Application forms tend to repeat the same questions. Save your best answer once on the Questions page, then review and improve it over time.
Additional profile details
Your job profile has room for extra context, such as certifications, tools and achievements. The more accurate this is, the more useful your suggested answers will be.
Exclusions
List the companies and keywords you want to avoid, such as your current employer or a type of role. Listings that match can then be skipped.
Hide applied jobs
On LinkedIn, you can hide jobs you have already applied to, which keeps your results tidy and helps you avoid applying twice.
Application history
My Jobs records your applications, and Analytics summarizes your activity, so you can see what is happening in your search.
Pace control
You can adjust how quickly the extension works. We suggest starting slowly, so you have time to check what it is doing.
Fix common problems
The extension is not responding
Refresh the job page first. If that does not help, remove the extension from Chrome, add it back and sign in again.
A run gets stuck on Indeed
Indeed may open parts of an application in a new window. In Chrome, go to Settings, then Privacy and security, then Site settings, then Pop-ups and redirects, and allow pop-ups for Indeed.
An answer looks wrong
Update the matching entry on your Job Profile or Questions page. Generated answers can be wrong, so review anything important before it is submitted.
An application is missing from My Jobs
Refresh the page and check that the extension and website are signed in to the same account.
Frequently asked questions
Which job platforms are supported?
IQAutoApply works with LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Monster, ZipRecruiter and Built In. Job sites change their pages often, so some application forms may need you to finish them by hand.
Can you guarantee me interviews?
No. Hiring decisions belong to employers, and no tool can promise them. IQAutoApply reduces repetitive work so you can apply more efficiently.
Is my resume data safe?
We do not sell your personal information or give your resume to advertisers. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, who processes it and how to request deletion.
Can I stop a run at any time?
Yes. Open the extension and pause or stop the run whenever you like.
Do job platforms allow automation?
Each platform has its own terms, and some restrict automated activity. Read the current terms of any platform you use and decide what you are comfortable with, since you are responsible for how you use your own accounts.
How are suggested answers generated?
We use your profile, resume and saved answers, together with an AI provider, to draft a response. You should treat these as drafts and keep your profile accurate.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The trial plan needs no credit card and has limited usage. Paid plans offer higher limits, and you can compare them on the Subscription page after signing in.
